Nicology is a project I founded to design and produce diseño de desechos, or design from discarded materials, with families who survive by scavenging in Managua´s massive dump. The pieces of 'found art' jewelry shown here are creative, thought-provoking, and should be able to find a strong market in the US. Hopefully, this can be a source of income for people near the dump. I would certainly be a member of that market.
